Evergreen Pistache - Pistacia lentiscus

The Evergreen Pistache (Pistacia lentiscus) is a medium sized deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. The flowers aren't overly showy, but the foliage it often sold by florists as greenery and holds well when cut. This plant does not produce the edible nut of other pistacia. The native species is most common in production. The flower and bark on this plant is almost identical to Pistacia chinensis.
