Queensland Pittosporum - Pittosporum rhombifolium

The Queensland Pittosporum (Pittosporum rhombifolium) is a small flowering tree for warm climate landscapes and gardens. This plant makes a nice corner specimen in an urban setting. The flowers and spring are showy, and the berries (actually seed capsules) that follow are even more intense. unfortunately this plant spreads rapidly by seed and is becoming invasive in tropical climates. The native species is most common in production.
