Lowland Totara - Podocarpus totara

The Lowland Totara (Podocarpus totara) is a medium sized pyramidal broadleaf evergreen tree. This is used like a gigantic boxwood in warmer climates. It rarely exceeds 30'in the states, but reaches 100' in the native habitat. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
