Narrowleaf Cottonwood - Populus angustifolia

The Narrowleaf Cottonwood (Populus angustifolia) is a large shade tree native to wetlands in the Western United States. The crisp leaves make an Aspen like sound in the breeze. This tree drops lots of debris and probably shouldn't be planted in high traffic areas. The native species is most common in production.
