The Yaqui Cottonwood (Populus mexicana dimorpha) is a large deciduous shade tree for tropical climates. This plant is great when you want a temperate look in a tropical climate and need to suck up lots of ground water. It is often cultivated for a fast source of fuel and utilitarian wood. This plant requires lots of water and has very weak wood. The native species is most common in production.
