Accolade Flowering Cherry - Prunus 'Accolade'
The Accolade Flowering Cherry (Prunus 'Accolade') is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and garden. This is a fruitless variety with pink flowers in spring, nice horizontal branching, and good fall color. Flowering cherries are prone to winter kill from late freezes. Winter water is the best prevention. This is a cultivated hybrid of Prunus sargentii x Prunus subhirtella.
