Cascade Snow Flowering Cherry - Prunus 'Cascade Snow'
The Cascade Snow Flowering Cherry (Prunus 'Cascade Snow') is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This is a fruitless variety with white flowers in spring, nice horizontal branching, and good fall color. Flowering cherries are prone to winter kill from late freezes. Winter water is the best prevention. The original propagation records of this variety have been lost, but some growers believe it to be a Yoshino and often sell it as Prunus x yeodensis 'Cascade Snow'.
