Hollyleaf Cherry - Prunus ilicifolia

The Hollyleaf Cherry (Prunus ilicifolia) is a large shrub or small flowering tree native to California. This species is planted for the Holly like appearance, and has a very desirable fruit. This plant has a limited hardiness range and is not widely available commercially. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
