Cherry Laurel - Prunus laurocerasus

The Cherry Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus) is a medium to large broadleaf evergreen shrub for warmer climates. This plant is to the south what the Yew is to the north. It comes in many varieties with diverse uses and adapts to adverse conditions. The leaves can get 'Shot Hole' (fungus), but it seams to pass with the flush of new growth. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
