Otto Luyken Cherry Laurel - Prunus laurocerasus 'Otto Luyken'
The Otto Luyken Cherry Laurel (Prunus laurocerasus 'Otto Luyken') is a small to medium sized broadleaf evergreen shrub for gardens and landscapes. This is one of the more commonly planted Cherry Laurels. It can be very problematic if not given adequate room. The leaves can get 'Shot Hole' (fungus), but it seams to pass with the flush of new growth. This is a cultivated variety of Prunus laurocerasus. The berry photo is taken from parent species for identification purposes.
