The Peach (Prunus persica) is a small flowering fruit tree for landscapes, gardens, and production. This is the peach that we like to eat. It also has a nice flower show in spring. This plant is extremely prone to fireblight and once it gets it needs to be destroyed. There are hundreds of cultivars of this plant in production.
