Higan Weeping Cherry - Prunus subhirtella 'Pendula'

The Higan Weeping Cherry (Prunus subhirtella 'Pendula') is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This fruitless variety is one of the larger weeping cherries and has a very graceful if pruned right. DO NOT PRUNE when young. Let suckers from upper branches develop to gain height and once they fill out you can cut off the original "umbrella". This plant is a cultivated variety of Prunus subhirtella.
