Double Weeping Higan Cherry - Prunus subhirtella 'Yae-shidare-higan'

The Double Weeping Higan Cherry (Prunus subhirtella 'Yae-shidare-higan') is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This fruitless variety is weeping and has a double pink flower that makes a bigger show like a Prunus serrulata. DO NOT PRUNE when young. Let suckers from upper branches develop to gain height and once they fill out you can cut off the original "umbrella". This is a cultivated variety of Prunus subhirtella.
