Korean Sun Pear - Pyrus fauriei 'Korean Sun'
The Korean Sun Pear (Pyrus fauriei 'Korean Sun') is a small to medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. The flower, habit, and fall color are all great on this plant, and there are several varieties of this plant to choose shapes from. This species is more sturdy than Callery Pear and has a more solid red fall color. This might be the next great Pear. There are more cultivars of this species in production. Let's hope it is not invasive. It really has not been widely distributed enough to know yet.
