Evergreen Pear - Pyrus kawakamii

The Evergreen Pear (Pyrus kawakamii) is a small to medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has prolific flowers in spring and glossy evergreen leaves. It is often sold as fruitless but typically has a small green berry. This plant has a very dense branching habit that can make it prone to wind damage if not regularly thinned out.
