Sawtooth Oak - Quercus acutissima

The Sawtooth Oak (Quercus acutissima) is a medium to large sized shade tree for landscapes, and gardens. This species has a more horizontal branching habit than native oaks. The leaf looks like a sawtooth with a serrated edge. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
