White Oak - Quercus alba 

The White Oak (Quercus alba) is a large deciduous shade tree native to the Eastern United States. This species has a very upright form and hard wood making it good for urban use as well as lumber. This tree has great red fall color with a yellow interior. The spring catkin makes it look white from a distance. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
