Swamp White Oak - Quercus bicolor

The Swamp White Oak (Quercus bicolor) is a large deciduous shade tree native to the Eastern United States. This species has a very upright form and hard wood making it good for urban use as well as lumber. It has a great red fall color with a yellow interior, and is very drought and moisture tolerant as long as it has drainage. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
