Mesa Oak - Quercus engelmannii

The Mesa Oak (Quercus engelmannii) is a large broadleaf evergreen shade tree native to California. This is a very grand tree with a stately habit. The leaves are evergreen but will shed leaves in a drought. This plant needs periodic summer watering in landscapes. The native species is most common in production.
