Hungarian Oak - Quercus frainetto

The Hungarian Oak (Quercus frainetto) is an upright deciduous shade tree great for colonnades and street trees. This tree can withstand drought, has a nice narrow habit, but is not quite columnar. This plant has no negatives of note. This profile is of the species but most available commercially is the cultivar 'Forest Green'.
