Gambel Oak - Quercus Gambelii

The Gambel Oak (Quercus Gambelii) is a thicket forming deciduous tree native to the Southwestern United States. This is one of the best trees for naturalizing in high elevations and tolerant of dry, course soils. This plant is probably a little too natural for use in traditional landscape settings. The native species is most common in production.
