The Oregon White Oak (Quercus garryana) is a large deciduous shade tree native to the Pacific Northwest. This tree is very drought tolerant and has a great shape and habit for structure. The leaves of this species host lots of non-lethal insect damage. It will also develop root rot under irrigation. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
