The Pin Oak (Quercus palustris) is a large deciduous shade tree for landscapes and gardens native to the Eastern United States. This is one of the fastest growing Oaks, and is desired for the uniform pyramidal shape. This species is prone to Chlorosis, and the long lateral branches are prone to snow and ice damage. The native species is most common in production.
