Red Oak - Quercus rubra

The Red Oak (Quercus rubra) is a large deciduous shade tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing native to the Northeastern United States. This tree has great fall color, and is known for its large growing lower branches which make this tree one of best climbing and swing hanging trees. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
