The Huckleberry Oak (Quercus vaccinifolia) is a ground covering broadleaf evergreen native to the West Coast. This plant has a nice habit for use in landscapes and gardens. It is very similar in appearance to the Huckleberry of the Eastern United States. This plant has no negatives of note. There are a few more upright varieties of this species starting to come into production.
