Fire Line® Fern Leaf Buckthorn - Rhamnus frangula 'Ron Williams'
The Fire Line® Fern Leaf Buckthorn (Rhamnus frangula 'Ron Williams') is a medium to large sized deciduous shrub for landscapes and gardens. The ultra thin leafs in clusters add texture in adverse conditions. This variety was bred to produce less fruit, and be less likely to spread than others. The fall color is one of the best in the shrub layer of the landscape. This plant has no negatives of note. This plant is a trademarked culitvated variety of Rhamnus frangula with a patent held by Proven Winners®. Some photos from the parent species have been used to aid in identification.
