Lady Finger Palm - Rhapis excelsa

The Lady Finger Palm (Rhapis excelsa) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This palm is more of a clumping, thicket forming tree than others. It does form trunks, but they are seldom seen for the suckering habit. This palm does not do well in periods of drought and extra water may be needed. The native species is most common in production.
