Cinnamon Rhododendron - Rhododendron arboreum ssp. cinnamomeum
The Cinnamon Rhododendron (Rhododendron arboreum ssp. cinnamomeum) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This variety is almost tree like and a late early to mid season bloomer with larger foliage that persists into winter. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
