Roseum Cinnamon Rhododendron - Rhododendron arboreum ssp. cinnamomeum var. roseum

The Roseum Cinnamon Rhododendron (Rhododendron arboreum ssp. cinnamomeum var. roseum) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This variety is almost tree like and a late early to mid season bloomer with larger foliage that persists into winter. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. This is a naturally occurring cultivated variety of Rhododendron that is distinguished by the pink outer petal of emergent flowers and the lighter cinnamon undersides of leaves.
