Bureau Rhododendron - Rhododendron bureavii
The Bureau Rhododendron (Rhododendron bureavii) is a small to medium sized broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This species is a pinkish white mid season bloomer with a rusty appearance to the tops of new leaves and bottom of all. The leaf tops turn green toward fall. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. The native species is most common in production.
