The Davidsonianum Rhododendron (Rhododendron davidsonianum) is a medium sized to large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This species is very cold hardy with typically pink flowers that can vary to white and lavender. It also has smaller and rounder leaves than most Rhododendron. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. The native species is most common in production.
