Irroratum Rhododendron - Rhododendron irroratum

The Irroratum Rhododendron (Rhododendron irroratum) is a large shrub to small tree with evergreen leaves for gardens and landscapes. This species has red speckles on white dangling flower clusters and is able to be pruned as a shrub or encouraged to form a tree. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
