Western Rhododendron - Rhododendron macrophyllum
The Western Rhododendron (Rhododendron macrophyllum) is a large broadleaf evergreen flowering shrub for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. This is a great native variety for naturalizing on the west coast. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. The native species is most common in production.
