Oudijk's Sensation Rhododendron - Rhododendron 'Oudijk's Sensation'
The Oudijk's Sensation Rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Oudijk's Sensation') is a medium sized to large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. The small foliage on the big plant habit makes this a favorite of mine along with the nice full to the ground branching. It also has a very deep pink bloom color that is almost red. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. This plant is a cross between Rhododendron 'Essex Scarlet' and Rhododendron williamsianum.
