Pink Walloper Rhododendron - Rhododendron 'Pink Walloper'

The Pink Walloper Rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Pink Walloper') is a medium sized to large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant differs from other Rhododendron in that the outer portion of the flowers is lighter than in interior portion or blotch. It is always best to make sure Rhododendron are well watered going into hard freezes. There is some controversy about the heritage. Some people believe this is just a visual variation of Rhododendron 'Lems Monarch' with no genetic difference.
