Black Jetbead - Rhodotypos scandens

The Black Jetbead (Rhodotypos scandens) is a small to medium flowering shrub for landscapes and gardens. This species has a naturalizing habit similar to a blackberry, but with a more persistent flowers and a tiny hard berry that lasts through winter. This plant could prove to be invasive in milder climates. The native species is most common in production.
