Evergreen Sumac - Rhus cohoriophylla

The Evergreen Sumac (Rhus cohoriophylla) is a broadleaf evergreen flowering shrub for warm season landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This plant is a thicket forming evergreen shrub that stays green even in severe drought with extremely fragrant flowers in spring. The stems root when touching ground and can be aggressive in gardens but are great for soil stabilization. The native species is most common in production.
