Missouri Currant - Ribes odoratum

The Missouri Currant (Ribes odoratum) is a deciduous fruit producing shrub coveted for it's berries, and native to the North and Central United States. This species has a vigorous suckering habit with heavy flower and fruit production. The species can be invasive outside of the native range and many states limit import. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
