Sweetbriar Rose - Rosa eglanteria

The Sweetbriar Rose (Rosa eglanteria) is a medium to large sized flowering deciduous shrub naturalized throughout regions of the Untied States. This shrub is a vigorous grower with nice flowers and red hips. It also provides habitat for birds and other wildlife. This is an exotic invasive species that has naturalized in the United States and should be eradicated when possible. This species should not be in production. If it still is please educate the grower or retailer.
