The Evergreen Blackberry (Rubus laciniatus) is a medium to large flowering and fruit bearing shrub found in warmer climates of the United States. This species is an extremely aggressive grower with incredible tasting fruit that is produced on second year growth. This plant is extremely thorny and considered an invasive species in warmer climates. This species is often considered a native as it has naturalized throughout the United States but it really is an exotic invasive that most people desire.
