Western Raspberry - Rubus leucodermis

The Western Raspberry (Rubus leucodermis) is a small to medium sized flowering and fruit bearing shrub native to the Western United States. This species is aggressive, but not as bad as Blackberry, with incredible tasting fruit that is produced on second year growth. This plant is thorny and can be unruly if not maintained. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
