Flowering Raspberry - Rubus odoratus

The Flowering Raspberry (Rubus odoratus) is a small to medium sized flowering and fruit bearing shrub native to the Eastern United States. This species is aggressive, but not as bad as Blackberry, with a larger leaf and larger flower than other varieties of the species. This plant is thorny and can be unruly if not maintained. The fruit is dry and undesirable. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
