The Thimbleberry (Rubus parviflorus) is a small to medium sized flowering and fruit bearing shrub native to the Western and Northern United States. This species is aggressive, but not as bad as Blackberry, with a larger leaf and larger flower than other varieties of the species. This plant is thorny and can be unruly if not maintained. The fruit is dry and undesirable. The native species is most common in production.
