The Trailing Blackberry (Rubus ursinus) is a large vining fruit producing shrub native to the Western United States. This species is aggressive and produces an abundance of extremely delicious berries that are a favorite of bears. This plant is thorny and can be unruly if not maintained. The native species is most common in production.
