The Corkscrew Willow (Salix matsudana 'Tortuosa') is a small ornamental tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant is used mainly for the contorted texture and the twigs are a favorite of florists in winter. Without winter water this species is prone to winterkill and can develop lots of dead wood.
