Himalayan Sarcococca - Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis
The Himalayan Sarcococca (Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis) is a spreading broadleaf evergreen groundcover ideal for a naturalized look in the garden. This species spreads by root and sucker and has a nice naturalized habit with a reliable evergreen foliage for shade. This plant needs loamy well drained soil, and roots in pots must be broken up or it will not spread when planted. There are a few cultivars of this plant in production.
