Fistula Senna - Senna fistula

The Fistula Senna (Senna fistula) is a small broadleaf evergreen flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has a nice clean form, glossy green leaves, and a showy yellow flower in fall. It grows relatively easy and makes a nice patio or courtyard tree. This plant will be stunted by occaisional freezes in zone 8, and can be invasive in tropical landscapes. The native species is most common in production.
