Japanese Pagodatree - Sophora japonica

The Japanese Pagodatree (Sophora japonica) is a mediums sized flowering deciduous tree for landscapes and gardens. This species has a nice lateral branching habit and pendulous flowers in early summer. The small leaves make this a good tree for urban use. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
