Whitebeam Mountain Ash - Sorbus aria

The Whitebeam Mountain Ash (Sorbus aria) is a medium sized deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This species is very hardy and easy to grow. It is planted as much for the berry and fall color as the flower. The foliage can burn during droughts and in the hot sun. The fall color is not as vivid as other Mountain Ash. The native species is most common in production.
