Cardinal Royal Mountain Ash - Sorbus aucuparia 'Cardinal Royal'
The Cardinal Royal Mountain Ash (Sorbus aucuparia 'Cardinal Royal') is a medium sized deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This species is very hardy and easy to grow. It is planted as much for the berry and fall color as the flower. This variety is supposedly more disease resistant than the parent species. The foliage can burn during droughts and in the hot sun.
